Sunny Tower 36/42
The Sunny Tower provides ease of installation, low specific cost ($/Watt) and high efficiency to maximize rebates and power production, while minimizing the overall payback period. The Sunny Tower combines the performance advantages of string inverters with the installation advantages of central inverters. The Sunny Tower is available in 36 kW and 42 kW models and multiple Sunny Towers can be used together on a single system. Sunny Towers are available with a builtin Sunny WebBox, making them internet ready.

Sunny Central 250U/500U
With the growth of the commercial solar market, SMA has expanded its central
inverter line for 2008. The new Sunny Central 250U and 500U have integrated
isolation transformers and deliver high efficiencies for large PV power plant
inverters.

The user interface has been completely updated and now features a large
LCD that provides a graphical view of the daily plant production as well as the
status of the PV array, inverter, and utility grid. The new 250U and 500U also
offer optional PV string monitoring that makes the process of troubleshooting
the PV array more efficient.

The new Sunny Centrals offer a wide variety of remote monitoring options.
Users can now choose from RS485, Ethernet, or wireless communications
via Bluetooth or GSM with the optional WebBox. Daily performance data can
be automatically uploaded to the free Sunny Portal website. The accuracy of
performance data can be increased through the use of the optional Sunny
SensorBox which provides monitoring of local irradiance, temperatures, and
wind speed.
